Some of our Year 6 debating team attended the ARTS UNIT Premier’s Debating workshop aimed at refreshing and teaching new debating skills in prep for the round robin competition that will begin towards the end of Term One.
So far, the morning has been about the three main focuses of debating such as MATTER METHOD AND MANNER.
Today our Year 5 debating team was off to the Premiers Debating workshop. It was a fantastic day and our kids did us proud with their excellent participation and behaviour!

This year we have our Year Six Tighes Hills Tigers entered in our Premier’s Debating Challenge.
Our Year Five team will be participating in friendly local school debates to practice their skills ready for next year. These will consist of prepared and unprepared debates.
Our Year Five team has the opportunity to participate in the Arts unit run debating workshop happening the 18th of February at Marks Point Public school. From 9.15 am till 2.45 pm.
